Online Fundraising Program


 

Step 1.

Set Up Your Account

It is very simple and easy!  You'll be receive a unique username and a password.  Celebrating Home will, step by step, walk you through the rest of your set up.

Step 2.

Personalize Your Home Page

 

You'll be able to upload either a photo of your organization, your organization's logo, or select an image provided by Celebrating Home.  You can include a fundraising goal and select a gauge for your sellers and your supporters to watch your sales grow!  Lastly, you can enter a personalized message thanking them for supporting your cause and why it is important to support your fundraiser.

Step 3.

Spread the Word through Email, Facebook etc.

Once you've registered you will automatically receive an e-mail to forward to friends and family with a custom link that gives your organization credit for purchases made.  Spreading the word to friends and family is as easy as forwarding an e-mail, or sharing your fundraising link on Facebook or Twitter.

Step 4.

Watch your Sales Grow!

You can see the progress meter for each one campaign, send e-mails to supporters, view reports and edit or view your shopping page. This page is your one stop shop for anything you might need to manage regarding your fundraiser.

When you distribute items from your traditional brochures sales you can include a note with an invitation for your customers to visit your online link to continue shopping and supporting your fundraiser!

Your organization is able to create your own unique customized, professional, and secure webpage in just a few simple steps.   Your webpage will be easy to use and you will be able to select your banner, button and font colors to match your school or group’s program colors.  You will upload your photo or logo or choose one of ours to help promote your efforts, set a sales goal for your program, and select a progress meter icon for tracking your sales progress.  Additionally, you will be able to add in your own personalized message describing your goals and fundraiser's purpose for your supporters to read.  Our online fundraising program will provide detailed reporting on your sales progress, sales by campaign and sales by participant.   See an enlarged image below to preview how easy it is to set up your webpage!

Our Online Program offers all the same great benefits as our traditional brochure program including 50% profit, direct shipments to your customer's home, and our extraordinary candles, accessories, gift wrap, and food items.  With our online program you can select which items you want to offer your customers.  If your organization is unable to sell food items that's no problem!  You can simply opt to exclude them from your sales!   In addition, Celebrating Home will handle all the money and customer contacts for you.  Once the program is set up, you'll be able to reach a broader audience and increase your sales by sending emails to anyone you wish, your sellers can utilize a variety of social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Email etc to invite out-of-town, out-of-state, even local friends and family they won't be seeing during the fundraiser to shop online and support your fundraiser!  Your participants can register themselves online to share this fundraising program with their family and friends.  It just doesn't get any easier!

Online Fundraising provides convenience.  Share your unique web address with your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers etc and and invite them to "share" your online shopping link to everyone they know.  You’ll receive an easy-to-use email that allows you to invite friends and family members to make purchase.  Watch your sales soar with this unique opportunity!  Your webpage will also contain links to share your page on Facebook, Twitter, etc.

There's no question our customers LOVE our products!  You can now offer all your customers an opportunity to continue shopping with Celebrating Home for up to 90 days following the closing of your fundraiser!  When distributing your products you can include a note inviting your customers to continue shopping with Celebrating Home.  When you register your fundraiser you'll be able to provide an address for sending your profit check.  Additional profits received from your extended sales will be sent to you directly from the company.  There's nothing you need to do!  Your link can be added to your school newsletters, school or organization website, etc and are a perfect way to increase your overall monies earned.  Fall fundraisers can continue to promote sales for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Early spring fundraisers can promote for Mother's Day, Graduation gifts etc.  Our products are perfect for all your gift-giving needs, anytime of the year!

For the BEST results we recommend promoting a combination of our face-to-face brochure program along with an online campaign.  In most cases, organizations will experience a significant increase in sales when running them concurrently.

Setting up your customized webpage is easy! Contact us to get started!

1.  Select a Campaign Name for your fundraiser.
2.  Upload a Logo or Photo of your own or use one of our stock photo options.
3.  Select your preferred banner, button colors and font color.
4.  Set a retail sales goal that you wish to achieve through your fundraiser. Choose the style of Progress Meter that you wish to use to track sales.
5.  Add your own story about why others should participate in your Fundraiser to further inspire them to help you achieve your goal.
6.  Preview and save your site.
 

Manage Your Fundraisers

If you need to edit your site, view reports, share the link with supporters, or any other relevant action with your site, the way to do this is ot log into your My Fundraiser page and signing in with your username and password.  Your representative will register your fundraiser on your behalf and will assign you a username and password. 

Notice there are 3 sections to this page.  Active, Pending and Completed Fundraisers. 

1. Active fundraisers are ones that are currently available for online shopping by supporters.  There are a number of tools available for Active Fundraisers. 

To edit any details of the registration including contact details and the dates the fundraiser will be held, click on the Campaign Name that is a link.  In the example above, the link is Dogs Need Toys Too.  Clicking on that link will open the initial registration form and allow almost any field to be edited. 

Clicking  on E-mail Supporters will open a dialog box and prompt for your e-mail address.  An e-mail will be sent to that address, and the Organization can then forward the e-mail to its participants (sellers/students)>  The e-mail instructs them how to register as a participant, and provides other details of the fundraiser. 

Dear Participant,
Deb Goodridge is conducting a fundraiser to raise funds for Granby Memorial High School. As a member of our group, we would like to ask you to participate in this fundraiser electronically in addition to your sales from the brochure.

Please go to the link shown below and register as a participant. After you do so, you will have access to the e-mail template to forward to your friends and family. It will include a link to take them to our shopping site and will give you credit for their purchases.

In addition to sending an email to your family and friends, especially those who are outside of your community, sharing the link on social media pages such as facebook will help you to generate additional sales. Combining traditional brochure sales with online sales is the best way to maximize your fundraising potential.

When the Reports link is clicked, the list can either be filtered by "All Registered Participants" or "Participant Sales Only.”  This  allows the Organization to see what participants have registered regardless of sales, or they can filter on Participant Sales Only and see a list of participants that have received sales to their credit for the purpose of prizes or credit toward their personal goal. 

Edit Site allows you to edit your site text, colors and your image.

View Site will open your shopping site so that you can shop from it or use the social tools that are included on the site. 

2. Pending fundraisers have been registered, but have information that is not fully complete for shopping to begin. 

The reasons a registration might still be pending are:

- The online site has not yet been created.  In the image above under "Site Created," it says "No" and there is a link beside that labeled "Create."  This shows the user that the site has not yet been created and prompts her/him with the link to use to do so. 

- The registration was created as tax exempt and the form has not yet been sent and/or approved by the tax department.  This is indicated by a "No" in the "Tax Exempt Approved?" column. 

3. Completed fundraisers are the fundraisers that have already been submitted and/or the online closing date has passed.  The user can still see these for reports, but no portion is editable. 

 

Using Your Shopping Site

Now that your site is created there are several tools built into the site itself that will be beneficial to you. 

Share Your Fundraiser with Supporters.

Anyone shopping on your site can help you get the word out to other potential supporters. 

In the Share Our Fundraiser section:

- You can send yourself an e-mail that includes the shopping link that you ca then easily forward to anyone in your address book encouraging her to support the group.

- You can create a post on you Facebook wall to share the shopping link for your fundraiser in a forum where extended social network will see it and have an opportunity to shop. 

- You can share the fundraiser on Twitter and other social media to provide excellent visibility to your fundraiser to a much larger audience than was previously possible.

Communicate Your Goals and Progress

There is a section on your shopping site that gives visitors information about when your fundraiser is scheduled to come to a close, what your goal is for online sales and the progress you've made toward your goal so far.

 

Participant Registration

If your Organization is awarding prizes for sales or giving participant credit toward individual expenses based on sales made on their behalf, it is important to have the participants register.  They can do this by simply providing their First Name, and e-mail address on the shopping site.

 

When your participants register, they will automatically receive an e-mail with their unique URL that ensures that that individual gets credit for sales made using that link.  By forwarding that e-mail to their friends and family, it can be guaranteed that anyone who shops using that link does so to the credit of that participant.
